What is PBRA? It is a state wide SIDE POT! Starting it's 1st year in 2011 in Florida. It's like a double header or co-sanctioned show. You make one run in an OPEN jackpot, pay two entry fees for a chance at winning TWO CHECKS. The Season runs January 1st to December 31st each year, but you may join anytime FREE. There will be a $10 membership fee after a FREE 60 day trial period, it goes towards year end awards. It pays first place to the 1D of the fastest PBRA entry at EACH jackpot . Not competing against other arena times! A benefit of PBRA's formula is 85% of entry fee goes into the payout & 30% of the Contestants are winning money back, as PBRA
has low overhead and is able to pay out better than most jackpots, super shows or rodeos. PBRA has great Sponsors providing some nice awards for the YEAR END CHAMPIONS, RESERVE CHAMPIONS & Top 5 in each Division. You can compete for money 52 weeks a year, and you can join anytime in the year, as your 1st 20 side pots count for point towards year end titles & awards. You say when & where you want to compete at Approved Side Pots State Wide!
It does not pay on percentages for placing 2nd or 3rd or so on, nor does it pay less to win the 4D than the 1D.
There is ONE FORMULA for the pay out and the only thing that changes the pay out is how many entries, and places paid at each side pot, those are the variables for the pay outs. The goal is to give you a chance for a $20 entry fee at winning multiple times that back depending on the variables mentioned above in the PBRA SIDE POT! Refer to the Rules page for the formula & payouts and the Results page to see for yourself how it pays. PBRA allows YOU to say when and where you want to compete for money and points. Your 1st 20 clean side pots count for points. You can compete close to home, make more money, save money on fuel, over night fees, wear and tear on your rig and horses. Another great advantage of PBRA is competing state wide against tough competition for year end and awards from your neck of the woods if you choose or state wide.
